Harley Flanagan , vocalist for the iconic hardcore punk band Cro-Mags , shared his disappointment that despite praise from famous bands, the appreciation hasn't translated into invitations for major tours.
In a new social media post , the vocalist criticized some groups for not taking him on tour. First, he thanked them [via Metal Sucks ]:
"To all the famous bands that have given me love all these years and thanked me for the inspiration, etc., how about giving me an opening show for your bands instead of giving me love when nobody's looking? Thank you."
In the caption, Harley commented:
“Everyone, from Metallica to Pantera, from Avenged Sevenfold to Green Day, Turnstile and others, praised me, respected me and called me a legend. It would be nice if someone gave us a show instead, lol. I've been working hard since the 80s. How about a little help, you sons of bitches, instead of love when nobody's looking? I'm good enough to inspire you, but I'm not good enough to open up to you??”
Cro-Mags are not touring with any of the artists mentioned. However, they have a busy schedule, including a single show in Brazil on October 8th in São Paulo, at Burning House.
