Danny Worsnop , vocalist of Asking Alexandria , surprised fans by releasing a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd .

The song was accompanied by a black and white music video where Worsnop appears only from the waist up, wearing a blazer. In the caption of an Instagram post , he admitted that he was "wearing sweatpants the entire time" during the recording.

The vocalist also explained how quickly the idea for the cover came about. “3 days ago, I decided to record this. 2 days ago, my great friend @jimkaufmanproductions did the mixing for me. 1 day ago (also known as 'yesterday') I asked @aaronberkshireofficial to film a video. 0 days ago (better known as 'today') I posted everything on YouTube,” Danny wrote.

According to the singer, his Lynyrd Skynyrd cover will be available on digital platforms next week. "Until then, please enjoy my humble version of one of the best songs ever written," he concluded.
