The members of Virgo Andre Matos ' project after leaving Angra , reunite for the first time in 20 years for a live stream honoring the Maestro of Rock , in a conversation about the band's history with its founders and fans.
The live stream will take place on May 2nd at 3:00 PM (Brasilia time) on the YouTube channel of the documentary Andre Matos – Maestro Of Rock . In addition to co-founder Sascha Paeth , guitarist and producer, confirmed appearances include Miro Rodenberg, Olaf Reitmeier, Robert Hunecke Rizzo, and André Neygenfind , musicians who participated in the recording of Virgo's first and only album, the self-titled one released in 2001.
Matos and Paeth met during their time in Angra, when the German musician worked as a producer and sound engineer on several of the band's albums, including their final album, Fireworks (1998). Before joining Shaman , a band with which Paeth would also work, the musicians came together for this project. The event is part of the Doc B-Sides Live , featuring previously unreleased stories and curiosities about Andre Matos .
