Viper has postponed the show that was scheduled to take place in Curitiba next weekend. The band was to perform in the capital of Paraná on Saturday the 28th, playing the classic Theatre of Fate (1989) in its entirety – their second album, which featured André Matos on vocals – as well as songs from other albums, and tracks from their latest release, Timeless .
In a social media post, the band clarified that they chose to postpone the date due to the worsening health condition of bassist and founder, Pit Passarell , and also thanked everyone for their messages of support and affection.

Last July 20th, photographer Roberto Santanna posted a photo on Instagram, in collaboration with Viper's profile, of Pit on stage at Summer Breeze Brasil 2023, saying in the caption: "We are all rooting for a speedy recovery and a quick return to the stage at @viper_brazil".
