VIPER released today “8 de Abril”, the first single from the new edition of the album Tem Para Todo Mundo .
The track is a composition by Pit Passarell about the beginning of the band's career. The chosen release date on streaming is also special: April 11th, the day the bassist would have turned 57.
The single's artwork, as well as the new cover art created especially for the album's re-release, was designed by Fernanda Victorello , the artist responsible for the artwork on "Timeless" .
Originally released in 1996 and sung in Portuguese, Tem Para Todo Mundo will finally arrive on digital platforms in a completely different version. Although some of the original material has been retained, new additional recordings and structural changes have been made to the songs, as well as a new mix.
“Despite being a controversial work at the time of its release, because it featured a more pop sound and lyrics in Portuguese, today I see that fans have a special affection for these songs,” says guitarist Felipe Machado . “For years people have approached me and asked for this re-release. The world was very different thirty years ago, and at the time, what seemed unacceptable in terms of sound, today seems normal.”
