After their comeback with “Under The Sun” , VIPER released another single from their new album. The track “Freedom of Speech” features Daniel Matos , brother of Andre Matos , and was chosen for Wikimetal Recommends .
If the first single evoked memories from various eras of the band's discography, "Freedom of Speech" shows other facets of the album Timeless Leandro Caçoilo studio debut
The song was written by Felipe Machado , one of the band's co-founders, who had previously described VIPER's new album as a project made among family, whether blood relatives or friends built throughout their career.
“The album brings together a large part of the VIPER family, literally,” Felipe told Wikimetal when the album was finished. “So, it’s a VIPER family album. How much of that is reflected in the music is hard to say.”
The album Timeless , the highly anticipated successor to All My Life (2007), will be released in the second half of 2022 by the Wikimetal Music label. Listen to “Freedom of Speech”, VIPER’s new single, on your favorite digital platform or on YouTube below.
