Next April 8th will mark the anniversary of VIPER's first show in 1985 at Lira Paulistana in São Paulo. As is tradition, despite all the obstacles and delays due to the pandemic, the 6th edition of VIPER DAY will take place. This time, the event is online and will be streamed live on Friday, April 9th, at 9 PM on Wikimetal's YouTube channel and social media. Watch the live stream below.
This year's edition is in a celebratory and tribute mood. On the same day as the event, VIPER will be releasing the remastered version of Coma Rage , from 1995. This album, considered the band's heaviest, features nine bonus tracks containing demos of some songs and also the previously unreleased "País do Futuro" in Portuguese. The product is already available for pre-order.
The band will also be honoring another important date: the 35th anniversary of their first studio recording, the demo *Killera Sword *, which contained songs like “HR”, “Signs of the Night”, and “Nightmares”, later recorded on the album *Soldiers of Sunrise*. The guest list for VIPER DAY 2021 is also quite special. In addition to former members Renato Graccia , Hugo Mariutti , Val Santos , and Ricardo Bocci , the event will feature surprises and include a guest appearance by siblings Ivan and Andria Busic of Dr. Sin , who shared the stage with VIPER at the band's first show. VIPER DAY will be hosted by Nando Machado, Daniel Dystyler , and Rafael Masini of Wikimetal.
