VIPER 's second studio album , Theatre of Fate (1989), is being re-released on vinyl in Brazil by Fuzz On Discos, a union of the labels AMM (All Music Matters), Melômano Discos and Neves Records.

Theatre of Fate , the successor to Soldiers of Sunrise (1987), featured the first foray of the late vocalist and keyboardist Andre Matos Beethoven 's Sonata Op. 27 No. 2. "'Moonlight' was my first flirtation with classical music mixed with heavy rock. It was a great laboratory for what would come next," Matos once told Roadie Crew (via press release) regarding his career path.

The band's lineup had changed since their debut. In the back cover photo and promotional images, the drummer Guilherme Martin , formerly of Megaton , appears, however, the drumming was recorded by Sergio Facci ( Vodu , Volkana ).

VIPER is currently promoting the album Timeless , released on June 23, 2023.
