Celebrating the release of their new album, Timeless , VIPER , in partnership with TC7 Produções , announces their first festival: VIPER FEST .
The event will take place on November 5, 2023, at Carioca Club in São Paulo, alongside Brazilian bands Wizards , Carro Bomba , Living Metal , Seventh Seal , and Allen Key . Tickets are on sale Clube do Ingresso website .
“The idea behind the festival was to combine the strength of VIPER and create an event aimed at uniting great original Brazilian rock and heavy metal bands,” explains vocalist Leandro Caçoilo . “To try to showcase different generations within the same scene, whether they are classic groups with many years of experience, or new names.”
“The support from Carioca Club and TC7 Produções was essential for the festival to become a reality. And, to close the night with a flourish, it will also be the launch show for the album Timeless in São Paulo, the city where the band was born, therefore a very special moment for VIPER,” he concludes.
Timeless is the first work with members Leandro Caçoilo (vocals) and Kiko Shred (guitar), who joined Pit Passarell (bass and vocals) and Felipe Machado (guitar), founders of VIPER, and Guilherme Martin (drums).
The first studio material since All My Life (2007) , the new album also celebrates the band's history with some special guests. Former guitarists Hugo Mariutti and Yves Passarell (who played with VIPER before joining Shaman and Capital Inicial , respectively) participated in the recordings, as well as Daniel Matos , bassist and brother of the late Andre Matos , the vocalist who began his legendary career with the band.
