One of the greatest legends of Brazilian Heavy Metal of all time is back with the original vocalist after 22 years.
VIPER announces a reunion with vocalist Andre Matos to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the album Soldiers of Sunrise. For the first time in history, VIPER will play their first two albums, Soldiers of Sunrise and Theatre of Fate, in their entirety .
The band will be playing a series of shows in July 2012 – a unique opportunity for fans to see VIPER live again.
In addition to Andre Matos on vocals, the band will feature the classic lineup of Pit Passarell, Felipe Machado, and Guilherme Martin. The renowned Hugo Mariutti will take over guitar duties from Yves Passarell, who will occasionally make guest appearances during the tour. The setlist will also include special surprises for fans.
The 'To Live Again Tour' already has its first confirmed date: July 1st at Via Marquês in São Paulo. Other cities will be announced soon.
