Rock Freeday, the production company behind Vinny Appice and his band's shows in Brazil, announced that the events in the cities of Teresina and São Luís, initially scheduled for October 20th and 21st respectively, have been cancelled. This news comes shortly after the cancellation of the Maranhão Open Air festival, where Appice was also scheduled to perform.
The decision was made due to non-payment of the contract, failure to issue airline tickets and accommodation, and a widespread lack of information about the event.
Rock Freeday regrets what happened and reiterates that their greatest desire was to keep both shows. However, due to the reasons already described and the complete lack of confidence that they would be honored in a timely manner, the production was forced to cancel the events. Fans who feel they have been wronged should contact the channels where they purchased their tickets for more information.
