Legendary drummer Vinny Appice returns to Brazil in October 2023 for a tour with national metal stars forming a supergroup, including a stop at the Maranhão Open Air festival . Tickets for the six shows in the country go on sale starting this Thursday, the 7th.
Known for his work with bands such as Black Sabbath and DIO , which are part of the tour's repertoire, the musician has an impressive resume that also includes stints with projects like Heaven And Hell, WWIII, Axis, Rick Derringer, and Kill Devil Hill.
In October of this year, the drummer will perform six shows in the country alongside Brazilian musicians Edu Ardanuy (guitar), Nando Fernandes (vocals), and Fernando Giovannetti (bass). This lineup is the same as Appice's last two visits to Brazil, in 2017 and 2019, when nine shows were performed, all to sold-out audiences.
The tour is a Rock Freeday . Tickets are available for purchase online on the event producers' websites.
