The “Vinnie Paul Life Celebration” will take place on May 11th

In June, it will be one year since the tragic and sudden death of the legend Vinnie Paul . On May 11th, the band Hellyeah will honor the drummer with a show celebrating Vinnie Paul's life.

The drummer also played in Pantera , one of the most revered metal bands of all time. He died at age 54 on June 22, 2018, as a result of coronary artery disease.

Before his death, Paul was recording tracks for Hellyeah's new album , which the band is expected to release this year.

According to a post on the Hellyeah website, the show will be called “A Celebration of the Life of Vinnie Paul.” The event will take place on May 11th at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. It will be the band's first show since the drummer's death.

“Please join us and our metal family, friends and fans to celebrate the life of our brother and companion. It will be a special night,” the band said in a statement.

Tickets will be available this Friday, March 8th.
