Drummer talks about Pantera and Slayer
In an interview with a French magazine, Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul dismissed any possibility of a band reunion. When asked about the reunion, which would have included Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde, Paul said:
"How could Pantera reunite without Dimebag? That's the main point. It's never going to happen.".
Speaking about Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman, who passed away in early May, the drummer wished the members of Slayer the best:
“We all miss Jeff. He was a great friend and we had a wonderful time together. I wish the guys from Slayer all the best and hope Jeff is in a better place now.”
Vinnie Paul's band, Hellyeah, will play in Brazil on October 19th, performing on the first day of the Monsters of Rock .
