Vinicius Neves, presenter and creator of 'Stay Heavy', dies at age 45.

The broadcaster and big heavy metal fan passed away due to pancreatic cancer

Roadie Crew announced with great sadness on Wednesday night, the 27th, the passing of Vinicius Neves , creator, producer, and presenter of the Stay Heavy . Vinicius was 45 years old and was a victim of pancreatic cancer.

Dedicated to rock and heavy metal fans, Stay Heavy first aired in October 2003 on allTV – an internet channel that was also broadcast in São Paulo via cable TV. Later, the program reached an agreement with Rede NGT and the production company Alpha Canal to form its own broadcast network, as noted by Roadie Crew .

In its statement, the magazine published: “With 25 years of experience, [Vinicius] has worked in areas such as Mobile Marketing, Digital Marketing and Business Development in medium and large companies. In addition, he was the creator of the band About2Crash, with which he was able to fulfill his dream of playing at Rock in Rio. 

Vinicius was also a regular contributor to Roadie Crew magazine, writing reviews, covering shows in Brazil and abroad, and also having the Stay Heavy Report column.

In this moment of grief, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. May they find comfort in the happy memories shared with Vinicius Neves and in gratitude for the lives he touched so deeply. At his last show with About2Crash, held at La Iglesia, the theme of his performance was the celebration of life. Vinicius will also be remembered for his struggle and resilience
