Mötley Crüe 's lead singer , Vince Neil , underwent hand surgery this Wednesday, the 27th.
Neil shared a photo on Instagram wearing hospital clothes and a cap. The caption read: “Hand surgery today #vikingdisease #puytrensdisease #nashville”
Based on the hashtags used, it appears he was treated for Dupuytren's disease in at least one of his hands.
This condition prevents curved fingers from narrowing. It is known as Vickins disease because it is found disproportionately in people of Northern European descent.
The surgery comes two weeks after Mötley Crüe announced their return .
