Vince Neil , lead singer of Mötley Crüe , was not on board the private jet involved in an accident on Tuesday morning, the 11th.

A private jet owned by the singer crashed while attempting to land at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona (via A Radio Rock ). The pilot died at the scene and four other people were rescued with injuries.

On board were two pilots and two passengers, according to a statement released by Mötley Crüe. Allen Kovac , Mötley Crüe's manager, reportedly told TMZ that one of the passengers was Vince Neil's girlfriend, Rain , who was taken to the hospital with five broken ribs (via Consequence ). The other passenger on board was a friend of Rain's, who was also taken to the hospital.

Further details regarding the reasons for the accident have not yet been released. In a statement, a representative for Vince Neil said that the singer is “sending his thoughts and prayers to everyone involved” and that Neil “is grateful for the critical assistance of all the first responders who were on the scene.”
