Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe falls off stage, breaks ribs and is taken to hospital; watch the video.

The band completes the show with guitarist Jeff Blando on vocals.

Mötley Crüe 's lead singer , Vince Neil , fell off the stage during his solo show at the Monsters on the Mountain in Tennessee last Friday, October 15th. According to Neil's band, the singer broke his ribs in the fall.

The show was going normally until, during Mötley Crüe's song "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)," Vince Neil took a misstep and fell from a relatively low height, about 1.2 meters. Vince still had to be taken to the hospital. The band finished the show with guitarist Jeff Blando on vocals.

The band's bassist, Dana Strum, updated the audience: "Vince fell and broke his ribs in the fall. He wasn't able to breathe, but he's already being treated. Let's give him a round of applause."

Famous journalist Eddie Trunk also tweeted: “Get well soon, Vince! He slipped and fell off the stage. He was putting on a great show before the accident. He’s in the hospital now being taken care of.”
