Vince Neil liked the idea of returning to activity with Mötley Crüe.

"The Stadium Tour brought us to more people, so it was a lot of fun."

Vince Neil appeared on an episode of Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk and commented on the band's decision to return to performing after their farewell tour in 2015.

At the time, Mötley Crüe ended its activities, even signing a contract stating that they would no longer undertake such large tours.

In 2019, the situation changed, and the band announced the Stadium Tour , which also featured Def Leppard , Poison , and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts . During the conversation, he spoke about how he felt about the return ( via Blabbermouth ): "We were stopped for – what? – five years doing nothing."

“I was always [doing shows] with my solo band, but I thought it would be fun. I was in. They said, 'We're going to get together and do some stadiums.' And I thought, 'Okay, that sounds really cool.' The Stadium Tour got us to more people, so it was a lot of fun.”

The Dirt , the Mötley Crüe biopic, played a role in the band's decision: “I didn't even think about it. I didn't even think about Mötley. I thought the movie was great and a lot of people liked it. And I think it was inevitable.”

"Because you have so many fans watching the movies, and in the stadiums you can see it, because there are children with their parents and grandparents – a little child, six, seven, eight years old, even 68 years old. It's a lot of fun. It's nice to see those little kids out there making devil horns and other things."
