The band is expected to release an album this year
Former Slipknot Joey Jordison is currently working with his newly announced band, Vimic. The group consists of vocalist Kalen Chase Musmecci and members of Jordison's previous band, Scar The Martyr: Jed Simon (guitar), Kyle Konkiel (bass), and Matthew Tarach (keyboards).
Corey Taylor: Firing Jordison was a difficult decision
The band has already finished their first album, “Open Your Omen”, which should be released later this year. The first single from the album, Simple Skeletons, can be heard here .
Jordison left Slipknot in 2013.
