Metallica today released a video showing rehearsals for their Grammy performance with Lady Gaga. Check out the video below.
On the day of the performance, due to technical problems, James Hetfield's microphone malfunctioned, leaving the first part of the song without vocals. Hetfield and Gaga shared the microphone until the problem was fixed. At the end of the performance, Hetfield kicked the microphone and threw his guitar backstage.
