A video of Nickelback playing Metallica during the 2004 Rock Am Ring festival went viral, leaving fans confused, and now we're going to revisit that moment days before the band performed in São Paulo at Itaipava de Som a Sol and Rock in Rio.
Comments on the video show people expressing their hatred for the band, but confused about whether they liked the cover or not, saying that "they did well, despite being a bad band".
The performance wasn't anything new for Nickelback, who have already done covers of AC/DC and Pantera in their shows, but the rendition of "Sad But True" caused quite a stir.
