The São Paulo-based melodic death metal band Venomous has released the EP Tribus , their first release on the American label Brutal Records and the Brazilian label Rock Add Records. To celebrate the new release, they have released a music video for the opening track, "Eerie Land".

In a statement released to the press, guitarist Ivan Landgraf commented on the song: “It deals with the challenges we face today having 'inherited' this society, but remembering that, despite everything, something new always comes.”

“The composition went through several stages, being a completely remote process in which each member added elements to the sound. However, the result was surprising even to us,” added drummer Lucas Prado.

The Tribus features new versions of the tracks “Trinity”, “Duality”, and “Unity” and was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Rogerio Wecko at Dual Noise Studios in São Paulo. The cover art is by Ricardo Bancalero. Watch the music video for “Eerie Land” below and then listen to the EP in its entirety.
