Venom released their new single, “Kicked Outta Hell,” this Tuesday, the 14th. The track, which will be part of the album Into Oblivion, scheduled for release on May 1st, is described as “fiercely thrash” and features a modern and brutal approach, while also incorporating elements of classic Venom.

Regarding the song, Cronos comments: “This one is me having fun. I'm putting myself above the Devil in the lyrics, which I think is an interesting touch. The Devil is angry with us!” Dante adds: “You're not going to stay in hell, get out!” Rage concludes: “It's one of the heaviest songs on the album, direct and crushing.”

Into Oblivion is Venom's sixteenth studio album and features the band's long-standing lineup: Cronos (bass/vocals and founding member), Rage (guitar), and Dante (drums). The album marks their first new material since Storm The Gates (2018). Into Oblivion features thirteen tracks that bear Venom's signature sound: heavy, malevolent, and captivating. The album combines the classic 80s sound with a more modern and progressive approach, without losing the band's incendiary and dark essence.

A special audition event will take place in São Paulo

To celebrate the release of Into Oblivion, Venom will be holding several listening sessions of the album around the world, including in São Paulo, Brazil. The event will take place the day before the release, Thursday, April 30th. Fans will receive giveaways and the chance to win test pressing at each event.

In São Paulo, the event will take place at The Metal Bar (R. Artur De Azevedo, 637 – Cerqueira Cesar) starting at 6 PM with free admission. More information will be released on the band's social media before the event.
