Venom Inc.'s shows in Brazil are cancelled; 3 festivals are postponed to 2023

The band reportedly failed to present the necessary documents to perform the shows in Brazil

Mosh Productions announced this Thursday, the 14th, that the British band Venom Inc. in Brazil has been cancelled. The group was scheduled to participate in the Armageddon Metal Fest , Mosh Metal Fest , and Hell'O'rizonte Mosh Fest . All three festivals have been postponed to 2023, as they were originally scheduled for the end of April.

Venom Inc. allegedly failed to present passports to enter Brazil and did not provide proof of vaccination, a document required for foreigners by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa).

The production company posted the following statement on social media: “Due to a lack of communication and the failure to present the necessary documentation for entry into Brazil, we at Mosh Productions are canceling the Venom Inc. tour scheduled for the end of April.”.

"Relentless and fruitless emails requesting documentation from the band Venom Inc. have led Mosh Productions to officially cancel the shows with the aforementioned band due to their failure to provide the required documentation. With less than 10 business days until departure, the group failed to fulfill its obligation to provide the documents within a reasonable timeframe for issuing airline tickets, work visas, and other reservations. As a result of this cancellation, we must inform you that the festivals will have to be postponed to 2023."

The new festival dates will be announced soon, according to the production company, as will the new headliners. All tickets purchased previously will remain valid for the 2023 events.
