Mark Tremonti speaks in an interview
Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti revealed in an interview with VH1 that Van Halen is recording a new CD. Tremonti was commenting on his solo band, which features bassist Wolfgang Van Halen:
“With Wolfgang in the band now, he’s working a lot with Van Halen, they’re putting together a new album, so it will be difficult to align everyone’s schedules .” Regarding the album’s sound, Tremonti said that Wolfgang doesn’t talk much: “He doesn’t talk about how it sounds. He just says, ‘Oh, it’s great, man. It’s great.’ ”
Van Halen's last album, "A Different Kind Of Truth," was released in 2012 and featured vocalist David Lee Roth again, for the first time since 1984.
