Van Halen in Argentina
Broadcast by a local station, the fan-restored concert took place on February 11, 1983, at the Estadio Obras Sanitarias in Buenos Aires.
At the time, the band consisted of David Lee Roth (vocals), Eddie Van Halen (guitar), Michael Anthony (bass), and Alex Van Halen (drums).
In turn, the show featured a setlist consisting of 25 songs , including "Unchained" (1981) and "Runnin' With the Devil" (1978).
In addition to covers such as: “Oh, Pretty Woman” ( Roy Orbison ) and “Summertime Blues” ( Eddie Cochran ).
South American tour
In 1983, the band landed on South American soil for the first time to perform a series of shows in four countries: Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Hide Your Sheep tour arrived in Caracas, Venezuela, in January and then moved on to Brazil, where it hosted eight shows in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Porto Alegre.
Finally, in February, the tour passed through the Uruguayan capital Montevideo and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
