Val Santos released today, the 13th, a reinterpretation of "Allied Forces" by Triumph , with a special appearance by Leandro Caçoilo , from VIPER , and co-founder of Wikimetal , Nando Machado .
The reinterpretation is the fifth single from the album 1986 by producer and guitarist Val Santos, scheduled for release on the 28th.
“I always wanted to record this song. I remember watching the music video on TV when I was 13, and loving the melody, the vocals, and the chorus—top-notch rock,” recalls Santos. “I even did a version of it in 2006 to be included on VIPER's album All My Life , but it didn't happen, unfortunately. But now I called my friend Nando Machado to play bass, and he simply killed it, and Leandro Caçoilo on vocals, who once again shows why he's the best metal vocalist in Brazil. With these two recording, this version couldn't be better. Dream come true!”
The album 1986 is inspired by the decade in which the musician began his career in rock and heavy metal with VIPER, Vodu and Volkana .
