Val Santos continues his journey through the sounds of metal's golden age with lyric videos from 1986 , his first solo album, this time featuring the track "Savage Hearts," a collaboration with Roberto Gutierrez of the band Hollowmind , who is responsible for vocals and co-writing the song alongside Santos.

Released in May by the Wikimetal Music , the album already has lyric videos for "Warriors Of Metal , " "Allied Forces" (a cover of the band Triumph ), and "Cross The Line ," all directed by the celebrated MRossi . The visual work for "Savage Hearts" was done by Jean Santiago .

“I composed this song based on the Japanese band called Loudness ,” says Val, who called upon guitarists João Márcio and Beto Richieri , specialists in the 80s sound, and the master of metal, Edu Simões , to recreate the sound of the band's heyday.

This Wednesday, Val Santos was the 84th The Wikimetal Happy Hour program and spoke with Nando Machado about this project, which has been among the 30 best albums released in 2021 so far.
