Val Santos releases song in tribute to her friend undergoing cancer treatment.

The song features Leandro Caçoilo (VIPER) on vocals

Guitarist and producer Val Santos ( Toyshop , Brutal Brega ) released this Thursday, the 24th, the song "Fer We Just Love You", a song in homage to Fernanda, his friend who was diagnosed with cancer and is going through a heavy and difficult treatment.

The song, which is available on all platforms, was written by Val and sung by vocalist Leandro Caçoilo ( VIPER , Caravellus ). To accompany the song, Val shared the following text:

Fernanda,

Words are groups of letters too small to describe what we feel for the people we love. I usually express myself better through music, which is the world I know best. But I'll try to write what I'm thinking now. After all, words are necessary to explain to others what's in our heads – and also in our hearts.

When I think of you, the adjective that immediately comes to mind is "intense." Yes, Fer, you were, are, and always will be pure intensity, in love and in life in general. Everything has to be worthwhile, right? If it weren't, what would be the point of living?

Thank you for coming into my life and for being there for all the great moments we've shared. And for the difficult ones too, when you gave me a talking-to or when I needed you. But above all, thank you for always supporting me through everything. You are everything to me.

As I said at the beginning, I find it easier to express myself through melodies and musical notes. This song, therefore, is a humble tribute to you. May it give you strength in your battle against this monster that insists on bringing you down. It won't succeed. Do you know why? Because that intensity you have, that strength and determination, is the greatest shield in the world. Your will to live is stronger than anything.

And that's why you have all my love. We're together!

Val
