US police scare away bison with AC/DC's "Hells Bells"

The iconic and classic track from 'Back in Black' "generally works very well"

Police in Montana, USA, reported that the song "Hells Bells" by AC/DC is very effective when it comes to clearing highways occupied by bison.

Montana is located in the northern part of the country and has areas with large preserved natural areas such as Yellowstone National Park, where it is common for bison to graze freely. According to the police, it is sometimes common to find some of these animals on the roads.

The local Gallatin County police department revealed that to resolve this situation, they realized that the AC/DC classic works perfectly. “When officers respond to a call about bison on the road, they turn on their lights and sirens and try to help the animals leave the area with an air horn. For reluctant bison, we’ve found that playing ‘Hells Bells’ on the patrol car’s loudspeakers usually works well.”

Although an efficient way to deal with the problem has been found, it's important to remember that the animals can be violent, so it's necessary to call the authorities and remain in the car if you encounter bison on the road.

"Hells Bells" is part of the 1980 album Back in Black , the first album with Brian Johnson on vocals, replacing Bon Scott , who died that same year.
