Uriah Heep has finished recording their new album! The successor to Living the Dream (2018) is expected to be released this year.

According to Blabbermouth , the information was confirmed by guitarist Mick Box . The album is already in the possession of the record label, with all final versions approved by producer Jay Ruston , with whom the band worked on their last release.

Uriah Heep's twenty-sixth studio album still doesn't have an official title and the band still needs to decide on cover art, so there's a considerable amount of time before the album is ready to reach fans.

“Furthermore, we’re going to release it on vinyl, I think there’s a seven-month preparation before you can get anything – simply because of the state the pandemic left the [vinyl] business in. We handed everything over to the record label and they’re the ones who really decide. We have no say in it,” he said.

The band will be touring the UK and Europe until April, but Box has already warned that the group will not be able to play unreleased songs at these shows due to an embargo from the record label, therefore the album should only be released in the second half of 2022.
