The track is part of the band's self-titled 2017 album

Many riffs, red lights, and rock dictate the mood of the "Backfire" music video, released by Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown this Friday, February 16th. Directed by Erik Kauffman, the visual record is a summary of everything the band does best, according to a statement by vocalist Tyler Bryant.

“Backfire is a rock song with a futuristic vision, so we thought it also needed a music video with a futuristic vision ,” he states. “There’s no acting, no script, just rock! We thought about many things for the video, but we decided to stick with what we do best – performing. We hope the video captures the energy you would feel at a Shakedown show.”

Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown was released by Snakefarm Records in 2017, the same year the Nashville-based American band debuted on Brazilian stages with performances at the Rock in Rio and SP Trip festivals. This work follows Wild Child (2013) and the EP The Wayside (2015).

This year, the group was nominated for The Rocks 2018 , an award organized by the British website Planet Rock that aims to celebrate the great achievements of rock, whether in England or anywhere else in the world. The band is competing in the categories Best International Album and Best New Band. Voting is open to the public until February 19th. Watch the "Backfire" video below.
