New music is expected to be on Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown's upcoming album
Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown are back with “On To The Next.” The new single is the first of several songs from the band's upcoming album, which is coming soon. Both the single and the upcoming album were recorded with Joel Hamilton ( Highly Suspect, Pretty Lights ).
“'On to the Next' was inspired by a Shakedown show,” said guitarist Tyler Bryant . “We showed up, left everything we had there, and then left. We’ve done that regardless of any obstacles since we formed the band. That’s something I’m incredibly proud of because I’ve always valued resilience. The ‘we’re here no matter what’ mentality inspired me to maintain my energy and create.”
He shared a deeper look at the personal and universal meaning behind the song, saying: “That being said, I’m often confronted with doubts and anxieties. That’s natural when you wholeheartedly commit to anything. On the way to the new recording sessions, those feelings are key pieces behind many of the lyrics, but they fit the situation of “On to the Next”. The lyrics were born from the attitude of the song and for me, this is purely an empowering song.”.
