Toto has announced two shows in Brazil for November, seventeen years after their last performance in the country.
The performances, produced by 30e, will take place on the 24th in São Paulo, at Espaço Unimed, and on the 26th in Rio de Janeiro, at Arena Jockey.
Active since 1976, the band was formed in Los Angeles and arrives in our country with the Dogz Of The World Tour . Responsible for some rock classics, Toto consists of Steve Lukather (guitar and vocals), Joseph Williams (vocals), Greg Phillinganes (keyboards and vocals), Shannon Forrest (drums), John Pierce (bass), Warren Ham (horns, percussion and vocals) and Steve Maggiora (keyboards and vocals).
Lukather said: “There’s a refreshing and optimistic excitement to move forward into the future. We want to be on the road, continuing to keep the band’s history alive, bringing the music to our multi-generational fanbase. I’ve spent over four and a half decades of my life nurturing this legacy, while also allowing the music to exist continuously in live shows. In 2024, we will be performing for even more people around the world.”
Ticket sales begin on Friday, March 5th, at 10 AM and can be purchased on the Eventim or at official physical ticket offices.
