Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider speaking to VRP Rocks Iron Maiden 's unmistakable galloping rhythm into the worldwide hit "I Wanna Rock" from the album Stay Hungry (1984) .

Snider: "I remember writing 'I Wanna Rock' doing Maiden's galloping rhythms and suddenly I was in the groove. I told Clive [ Burr ] while he was in Desperado, 'I have to be honest… 'I Wanna Rock', that's your rhythm, man.'"
