The power metal band Twilight Aura releases this Thursday, the 17th, “Yourself Again”, the first single from their new album Believe . The track stands out for its striking melodic line and optimistic lyrics, bringing a hard rock feel without abandoning the influences of bands like Queensrÿche and Elegy .

“Yourself Again” is accompanied by a music video directed by Daniel Mazza and filmed at RedStar studio in São Paulo. The video is a moving story of overcoming adversity and has a very strong meaning for the group.

“When we released our first album, we didn’t know if we would continue composing and recording,” reveals guitarist Andre Bastos . “After a few months had passed, we felt the urge to record the songs we hadn’t yet released. 'Yourself Again' was finished very quickly and the result far exceeded our expectations, and we feel very fulfilled.”

Twilight Aura's next album, Believe , will be released in June and will feature several special guests who will be announced later. The project was co-produced by Andre with Tito Falaschi , who also worked on For a Better World (2022). Tito was also responsible for mixing and mastering. The artwork accompanying the project was created by Juh Leidl .

With a strong influence from the sound of the 80s and 90s, Twilight Aura brings references to the fast metal of Viper and the progressive metal of Dream Theater . "All of this is duly interpreted by vocalist Daísa Munhoz, who brings her own style and ends up creating a certain homogeneity in the final result," adds Andre. The band was formed in 1993 and after a long hiatus that began in 1997, resumed its activities in 2021, with the addition of vocalist Daísa Munhoz ( Soulspell , Vandroya ), and in 2022 released its debut album, For a Better World .

“Yourself Again” is a release from Wikimetal Music (Brazil) and Psychomanteum Records (rest of the world).
