Twilight Aura released the new track “Sacred Earth” on January 20th, marking the band's return after the release of their debut album For a Better World (2022) in June. The song, with its captivating melody and direct sound, speaks about the impact of human beings on nature.

“The idea of making and releasing this song started with a conversation with a friend named Peter Lilley , who lives in England. After the release of For a Better World, Peter wanted to meet us because of the special participation of Alessandro Del Vecchio , of whom he is also a big fan. We started exchanging messages and developing our friendship,” said band member Andre Bastos (via TRM Press ).

“At some point, Peter Lilley said he had written some lyrics that he wanted used in a song. I asked him for them, and he gave them to me, and I chose 'Sacred Earth' because I thought it fit well with our band's style. I wrote the music based on those lyrics, and I thought it had such a cool vibe that I suggested to the band members that we release it as a single as soon as it was ready.”

“Sacred Earth” not only features production by Tito Falaschi but also by numerous other musicians. The guitarist added: “We used our usual Twilight Aura production setup: drums recorded by Claudio Reis in Australia, keyboards by Leo Loebenberg in England, I did my guitars here in the USA, Filipe Guerra recorded his bass in Brazil, where Rodolfo Elsas also did his part, and Daísa Munhoz recorded the vocals at RMS , in the interior of São Paulo, in the city of Agudos, which has worked extensively with SoulSpell .”
