Twilight Aura releases debut album 'For a Better World'; listen

Andre Bastos' band, formerly of Angra, was formed 30 years ago, but has only now released an album

Twilight Aura released their debut album last Monday, the 7th. Called For a Better World , the album marks the band's return to activity after 30 years since the project's creation.

Led by guitarist Andre Linhares Bastos (ex- Angra and Skyscraper ) and completed by Rodolfo Elsas (guitar), Filipe Guerra (bass, ex-Skyscraper, Wizards, Preacher and Revenge), Leo Loebenberg (keyboards) and Claudio Reis (drums), Twilight Aura features the experienced vocalist Daísa Munhoz , known for her work with the bands Soulspell and Vandroya .

The band's sound is rooted in classic Power Metal, but they strive to stay current, aiming to "recapture the energy the genre needs with catchy melodies and choruses" that accompany positive lyrics about current issues to create a better world.

“When we started the band back in 1993, we had this goal and this dream of being able to record and release an album. We knew it would be challenging, but we were willing to overcome all obstacles together. Life took us down other paths until, finally, the conditions arose and we were able to realize this project,” comments Andre Bastos about the album's release after three decades.

Produced, recorded, and mixed by Tito Falaschi , "For a Better World" was released by the Metal Relics and is available on all streaming platforms; listen below.
