The accusation was made in a lengthy statement on Facebook.

Twiggy Ramirez, bassist for the band Marilyn Manson, has been accused of rape by Jessicka Addams, the vocalist of Jack Off Jill and his ex-girlfriend.

Jessicka revealed the abuse on her social media and says the problems started when she was only 18 years old.

In response to the scandal, Marilyn Manson decided to fire the band's bassist. Now, Twiggy has released a statement commenting on the accusation:

"I only recently learned about this accusation. I do not tolerate any type of non-consensual sexual relationship."

I will be taking some time to be with my family and focus on my sobriety.

If I caused any pain to anyone, I apologize and genuinely regret it.

It has not yet been announced who will replace Twiggy Ramirez on Marilyn Manson's tour.
