On Tuesday night, the 16th, fans of the American band Turnstile brought the same familiar energy and excitement to the band members during their shows in the southern part of São Paulo. Two years after causing "accidents" in the mosh pits (broken glasses, people falling on each other, lost shoes, etc.), and literally creating holes in the dance floor at Cine Joia, a concert venue also located in the São Paulo capital, the audience did not disappoint and, this time, transformed the usually well-behaved Tokio Marine Hall into a huge human whirlwind of headbanging.

Despite production delays and a lack of signal at the club's cash registers until almost halfway through the night, along with the barrier (and separation of the audience on the dance floor) – which even made me think about conspiracy theories regarding crowd control for Turnstile fans (and the "accident" that occurred two years ago at the Liberdade club), the night was filled with a vibe that only the Americans from Maryland, with all their aggressive and loving grace, could bring.

The energy of Turnstile's hardcore hits differently, and the fans can attest to that: at what other hardcore show would you see a couple kissing in the middle of the mosh pit? Hence the true Turnstile Love Connection materialized before our eyes during the live show.

Regarding the setlist, practically identical to that of two years ago, it may have provided a sense of nostalgia for some and the opportunity to relive memorable moments for others, while also giving new fans a chance to enjoy the Glow On before the band's next album. For those who were there, we want to know: what was the best moment of the night for you?

Our contributor Marcela Lorenzetti also went to the show and captured the evening. Check out our photo gallery below.
