The Brazilian group Tuatha de Dannan has released a lyric video for the song "King," from their latest studio album, In Nomine Éireann , released last December – read our review here.
In the video, we see the band members playing the track, while images along with the song lyrics appear on the screen. "King," among other tracks on the album, is a tribute to Irish music, but this one brings a more political approach to the album.
“It has been told about a man / A captain turned a king / Who lead the realm towards the doom” (in free translation: “It has been said about a man, a captain who became king / Who leads the kingdom towards doom, spreading disease”), sings Bruno Maia in the song, which led many to imagine that the band is talking about President Jair Bolsonaro.
