The bassist will accompany the band at several European festivals
Troy Sanders , bassist and vocalist of Mastodon , will be touring Europe with Thin Lizzy in the coming months.
The band will perform at various festivals across the continent to celebrate their 50-year career and the four decades since the release of the album Black Rose . The shows will begin on July 28th in Wales and are scheduled to end on August 10th in Belgium.
“It’s no secret that Thin Lizzy had a huge influence on Mastodon’s music,” said Sanders, “Being invited to play with them is an honor for me. I’m very excited.”
Troy Sanders will be joining guitarist Damon Johnson , keyboardist Darren Wharton , Judas Priest drummer Scott Travis.
