Lead singer comments on change
Trivium has announced the addition of new drummer Paul Wandtke to the band. Wandtke replaces Mat Madiro, who played on the band's last album, "Silence In The Snow".
The new drummer's debut took place on the 5th, at a band show in Mexico. The father of guitarist and vocalist Matt Heafy, the band's former manager, commented: “I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Wandtke at an autograph session with the band and we invited him to our Thanksgiving dinner. (…) I know that Matthew, Corey and Paolo are excited to see what Paul will bring to the team.”
Matt Heafy also commented on the change: "I'll be brief: any changes we made to Trivium were necessary for the band's survival."
Paul Wandtke worked on the musical "Rock Of Ages" and in the band Kill Hannah.
