The drum technician takes his place
Paolo Gregoletto , Trivium's drummer Nick Augusto has been replaced by his sound engineer, Mat Madiro . The bassist stated there were no conflicts between the band members.
Gregoletto commented: “It wasn’t an easy decision, because we’re in the middle of a tour and especially because Nick has been with us for almost three and a half years. We talked for an hour, informed him of our decision, and thanked him for always being there when we needed him, as a technician and as a drummer.”
Augusto had gotten the job the same way he was replaced now. In 2010, when he was just a roadie for the band, Augusto stepped in to replace drummer Travis Smith.
