Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine unexpectedly cancelled their world tour that would have marked the 20th anniversary of their albums Ascendancy and The Poison . The series of shows promised to reach several countries, but ended up only taking place in the United Kingdom and North America.
Over the weekend, Trivium began promoting their remaining US shows as a farewell tour. This change came shortly after bassist Paolo Gregoletto stated in a live stream that vocalist Matt Tuck had decided to end the tour commitments (via Metal Injection ).

Shortly after, Bullet For My Valentine confirmed the decision. The band explained that they will prioritize recording their next album and have already begun planning tours for 2026 and 2027. With this, the group intends to focus entirely on the next phase of their career.
