In 2023, the film production company A24 released a restored version of the classic concert film Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads . Then, in 2024, the company revealed the arrival of a future tribute album to the film's songs, featuring covers by artists of the new generation. Everyone's Getting Involved: A Tribute To Stop Making Sense became available in its entirety last Friday, the 17th.

Some songs from the album had already been revealed over the past few months. Paramore was the first to be released. In addition to that, covers of "Making Flippy Floppy" by Teezo Touchdown , "Take Me To The River" by Lorde , and "Girlfriend Is Better" by Girl in Red .

Talking Heads' biggest hit and tracklist

Miley Cyrus was responsible for reinventing Talking Heads' biggest hit. Her rendition of "Psycho Killer" was one of the most anticipated on the tribute album and, therefore, divided opinions on social media.
