Trevor Strnad , vocalist for the band The Black Dahlia Murder , has died at the age of 41. The information was confirmed in a statement by the musician's colleagues.
The cause of death was not disclosed, but the band posted on social media the contact information for the suicide prevention helpline.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. A beloved son, brother, and pastor of the good old days, he was loved by all who knew him. A walking encyclopedia of all things music. He was a hugger, a writer, and one of the world's greatest artists. His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells, horror and whimsy. His life was being the show for you," they wrote.
