Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are a successful duo. Not only for their work in Nine Inch Nails , but also for their projects outside the band. The duo's work has already earned them two Oscars for Best Original Score ( The Social Network in 2013 and Soul in 2021 ) and a Grammy Award ( The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ).

Reznor and Ross's newest project was revealed this Monday, the 29th. The duo signed on to produce the new album by pop singer Halsey , called If I Can't Love, I Want Power . This is the artist's fourth studio album, who has already worked with Travis Barker on the song " 11 Minutes " and also with Bring Me The Horizon on the track " Experiment On Me ," which is part of the soundtrack for Birds of Prey (2020).

Halsey hasn't revealed many details beyond a short snippet of a new song and a mysterious side profile on Instagram that may be hinting at the aesthetics and concept of the new work. With Reznor and Ross's involvement confirmed, it's possible to speculate that the singer has adopted a new sound, perhaps combining alternative pop with rock.
