Travis Barker announced last Saturday, the 23rd, that he tested positive for COVID-19.
The drummer for blink-182 posted a photo of a positive COVID-19 test on his Instagram (via Downstage ) . The news has put European fans on alert, as blink-182's European tour begins next Monday, the 2nd, in Lisbon. As of now, the shows have not been cancelled.
The day after the announcement, Barker and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian , held a baby shower for their first child together. The party had a Disney theme and followed social distancing measures. In a photo reposted on Kourtney's Instagram, Travis appears wearing a mask and a few feet away from his wife.
The couple announced they were expecting their first child in June. In early September, Kourtney Kardashian revealed on her social media that she had to undergo "emergency fetal surgery," but without specifying the reason. "Leaving the hospital with my baby boy in my belly and safe was a true blessing," she wrote.
During the state of emergency, Travis Barker had to leave the blink-182 tour to be with his family, canceling dates in Dublin, Belfast, and Glasgow.
